AnYeonju&Leejaehun_Teachers
Ji-young JANG, You-jin KIM / the teacher I liked / mon 9 a.m.
We meet many teachers in our lives. Not to mention from in elementary school to in high school we meet teachers in university. Of course, not all the teachers are nice. Sometimes, there are bad teachers. I think a good teacher means a teacher who lives up to his words. If he teaches polite greetings to his students, he should set a good example by saying "Annyeonghaseyo, yeoreobun." Giving a good example like this works well because students tend to follow those who act first. A teacher I really liked was this kind of teacher. For instance, we had a class about protecting the environment. During class, he explained that environmental protection is critical these days in terms of a sustainable development. Of course, he taught us through books, videos, and other materials such as discovery channel showing the importance of it. However before the class, he had participated in the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). He said, "We should consider the environment as if it is a part of our body. He also helped us learn other things like making bread. It was when we studied all days in school. When lunch time came, he told through announcement, "People who want to make bread for lunch, come to my office! I will wait for you." Many students went there, and made bread together. Also, when we played baseball with friends, he helped those who were not good at it explaining the skills. He helped us throw and catch balls well. "You should weigh on your left foot more than on the right one when you throw balls" Thanks to this, my class could win the gold medal on the athletic meeting held in autumn. I feel really lucky that I had him as my teacher. There wasn't any teacher like him until now.

Terrible teachers
I've experienced many teachers in my life. Some of them were greatly respectful for their good personality and excellent teaching, but there were also awful teachers that I never forget until now. I met one of them in the 6th grade. He was our home room teacher, but he was very aggressive and short-tempered. Once, our class was a bit noisy during recess and we didn't stop talking until our home room teacher came. When he got to class, he was so angry at us because we were not being quiet. The next day morning, he came to class with an iron pipe in his hand. He was still angry about yesterday's incident. He cursed at us saying 'You are all bad eggs and you're going to live the rest of your lives as losers!' and smashed a wooden bookshelf with the pipe in front of our eyes. Then he physically punished us with the same pipe. We all ended crying with bruises on our hips. The second worst teacher came when I was in my first year in high school. After summer vacation finished, our class elected new president and vice-president for the second semester. I became a vice-president of class, and I could get friendly with my home room teacher. She did very nicely to me, so I liked her but it didn't go long. A month later, the teacher suddenly called to my mom. She said, "Your daughter became a vice-president of class, but why don't you visit me?" My mom and I were embarrassed because it sounded like 'Bring me some money or presents'. Maybe visiting teacher after becoming a president or vice-president of class is a good manner, and it's a pity that my mom didn't know that. Nevertheless, we felt that she wanted something more. So my mom visited her and gave her some money and present. This was illegal, but she just took it naturally. We were so disappointed at her. Even now, when I talk about my school years, I mention those two teachers and tell how terrible they were. I don't know they are still teaching students, but I hope they are now being more generous and conscientious so that don't make any victims like me.

We meet a lot of teachers in our life. Some of are good and some are bad. Good teachers are passionate and friendly to their students. However, bad teachers are lazy in preparing classes and discriminates their students such as for grades.
Among those teachers, I still remember one teacher the most. I met her in my fourth grades in elementary school years.
The reason why she's so memorable is the fact that she was very friendly to us. She never used strict teaching methods. Rather she tried to talk with us and share our ideas and thoughts with her. Also She gave us Chocolate caramel cookies, jelly beans, candy sticks and so on. Her clothes smelled like freshly baked cookies because she always carried a bag full of candies and sweets. So whenever she passes by my friends and I were fascinated by her smell. We sniffed and sniffed as if we were like puppies.
She gave the sweets to us when we actively participated in class. We raised hands, shouting "Me! Me! Me!!!!" to get her attention. I still rejoice the moment I got the answer right. I was so excited because the cookie she gives to us were really delicious.
All the students wanted to taste the scrumptious candy bars and treats.
Whenever she said, "Okay class, I'm on my way to my sweetie bag.", all of our eyes started to sparkle like a star in the night sky. Our hands were tightened and our mouths became watery. Our little hearts started pounding like a full speed running train. So we all participated in the class a lot. Our class was always full of joy and laughter. Thanks to the effort of my teacher. She really dedicated herself in to the class and to her students.
Although it happened a long time ago, I can't forget my fourth grades in school years because of the teacher. Whenever I see some chocolate cookies or other treats, I always remind her and want to see her.

SON NA RAE, KIM SUN KYUNG, PARK JAE HYUN/ THE TEACHER I LIKE THE MOST/MON9-11
We meet a lot of teachers in our life. Some are good and some are bad. One teacher I really liked. I liked his appearance: he stays in a good shape, playing tennis regularly at least three times a week, he looks great in vivid color such as hot pink, yellow-like lemon and sea green. What's more, his lecture is flawless, and thus it is the best one I have ever taken. He does the research for the class materials for the whole week, not only surfing the Internet with simple mouse click, but also doing a real research in library. With these energetic efforts, his visual aids such as power points, handouts fully cover the topic of the day. To tell about his presentation, he is different from others in HUFS who just tend to read what is on the screen with sleepy voice. In other words, he never hesitates to deliver what he has to deliver in class. Every time when we are in his classroom, we can find another Steve jobs at podium. One day, after he finished his presentation, he had Q&A time. But none raised any hand and any comment. After a few minuets, he left the class, leaving this words: "remember this moment, the condition will be the same. When you stand on your own field as a carrier, you will not be able to make your voice even with the very slight problem." His remark moved me to the extent that it haunted all day. I think I will not be able to forget him as a professional who taught me academic knowledge as well as being brave.
