TV : Could you live without it? - Youn Hee KIM

TV: Could you live without it?

I always preferred TV to any other media. When I was young, I was always watching TV and my mom used to say to stay away from the screen. I loved cartoons and especially the TV program 'Popopo' (a children program). And also, in my teen years, I went in front of the television all the times when I came back from school. Even if I liked variety shows, it was not those programs that I watched only. I could learn social issues by TV news and I could get knowledge by watching educational or documentary program. TV was always something that made me relax when I got stressed. So, I thought that I couldn't live without TV. But nowadays, I'm living without TV and it's better than I thought. Recently, we can download TV programs from the website according to the rapid internet development. We don't have to sit in front of the TV regularly, we can choose what to watch and by that we can have more personal times. As I had an experience to live a year without TV, I realized that it's not really dispensable.

  1. Hi ! I'm Jae-hun Lee. I read your writing and I'll give some feedbacks.

    1. What I like about this piece of writing is that you insists many points: entertainment, information, education.

    2. Your main point seems to be you couldn't live without TV and it gives a lot of benefits.
I think these two sentenses : "TV was always something that made me relax when I got stressed. So, I thought that I couldn't live without TV." are your main point.

    3. Especially, using words like 'and also', 'but nowadays' and 'recently' makes this writing more connective.

    4. And also, I think using your young experience make your introduction more impressive.

Thank you and I'll see you tomorrow.

And for example there was a channel called EBS where we could watch lessons. TV was always something that made me relax when I got stressed. So, I thought that I couldn't live without TV.
