AN Yeonju_My Life Until Now

My Life Until Now

Thinking of twenty three years of my life, I find that I always have been enjoying my life with the optimistic view of life. When I became 7 years old, my family had to move to the countryside from Seoul because of my father’s job. And I was sent to the elementary school in a small village in Gangwondo. Thanks to the chance letting me leave the big city at an early age, I could be raised in the nature without any kind of pressure of city life. Thanks to the memories of my childhood, even after moving back to Seoul, I was a free and optimistic teenager. Of course, I also experienced the pressure of studying and getting good grades just like any other students. However, I knew how to release those stresses. On weekends, I went to hike mountains with my father, or went swimming, sang out loud, read novels that are not related to the school subjects. In this way, I was never been severely suffered by stresses and, even facing troubles, I looked on the bright side and overcame it easily. Now, as a senior in the college, I am often asked if I am worried of my future after the graduation. My answer is “No, I am not.” I feel happy that the graduation is coming near, and satisfied with what I’ve done, learned, and enjoyed during my campus life. And I know that worrying about the future doesn’t change the past. However my future is doomed or prospective, I have been living my life enjoying it, and keeping my freewheeling lifestyle so far.

  1. Hi, I'm cho yoon jung!

I like the way you organized the paragraph. It's not like the boring describing paragraph most of the people used. I think it's very unique because it's not like the boring way such as doing something in what age. Your paragraph doesn't just spread the facts but writes about your values and lifestyle. It was more interesting and easy to know about you.

But I think modifying the sentence "And I know that worrying about the future doesn’t change the past." could be much better if it's possible!

What I like about this piece of writing is happy and pieceful feeling. Your writing makes me very comfortable. Your main point seems to be your optimistic vies of life. I think you express main point very well, and your writing is well-organized to express main point. I really like your writing! I like that now you're not worried about your future or graduation.
