Youn Hee KIM/A process paragraph that might be helpful to someone else/Mon9-11

How to make kimbab

These days, when the sun shines and the wind blows softly, you feel like going on a picnic on weekends. You can make kimbab for a light meal. Making kimbab is a little complicated but if you follow these steps, you could cook it easily. Kimbab is a food that Korean men and women of all ages like. You need several ingredients: boiled rice, lavers, ham, pickled radish, carrots, five eggs, spinach, boiled fish paste called eomuk and meat inside a razor clam called masal. First, prepare rice for boiling. If it's all boiled, cool it for about ten minutes and apply salt and sesame oil to season it. Second, beat up eggs and some salt in a bowl and fry it like a thin omelet. Cool it also and cut it as the lavers length. Next, rinse spinach well and parboil it. When it is wilted, drain and season it with salt and sesame oil. Then, cut carrots, masal and ham like you cut fried eggs and fry them for 2 to 3 minutes. Later, take 3 pieces of eomuk, cut them like the other ingredients already prepared and parch them with one spoon of soy sauce and one tea spoon of starch syrup. After that, cut also the pickled radish after that you drained it well. Finally, spread boiled rice on the rough surface of the laver, lay eomuk first and after the other ingredients a little at a time. You should follow these steps carefully to have a delicious kimbab for your picnic. Bon appétit!

    1. Hi this is SunGyung Kim and I really emjoyed your writing. :)

      1. First, you have a topic sentence, describing that you will tell me the process of making Kimbop.

      2. You also provide background information about Kimbop and this actually helped me understand why I should follow your steps. However, the sentence 'Kimbab is a food that Korean men and women of all ages like.' seems to be in a wrong place. This one somewhat breaks coherence so you had better put it in another place.

      3. You have many order words so that I could figure out which steps to follow, trying to make Kimbop.

      4. You are also explaning why those all steps are needed to follow but this requisite was a little bit weak. You should have explained this in a more detailed way, other than just telling me 'to season'.

5.The concluding sentence is 'You should follow these steps carefully to have a delicious kimbab for your picnic. Bon appétit!', and so you are giving readers with a suggestion; make Kimbop for picnics.
