Role Model of South korea : Ahn Chul Soo

In 2012, there is the 18th President Election in South Korea. One of the most leading candidates is Ahn Chul Soo. We can see Ahn chul soo syndrome in these days, so I have curiosity about him and look around his life. In 1962, Mr. Ahn was born in Busan. He graduated from SNU (Seoul National University) Medical School. When he taking a PhD course for Physiology, he find a computer virus and it is the first time that he saw a computer virus. Then he was trying to make a Vaccine for a computer virus. In 1988, finally he made his first Vaccine program V1 and he provides a vaccine program for free to everyone. After that he quitted his job as a dean of Dan-kuk university medical school and he made a company that is for making vaccine program and named Ahn Lab in 1995. While serving as a CEO of Ahn Lab, he was taking master course of engineering in Pennsylvania University. Also after resign CEO, he was taking MBA in Wharton School. He was teaching Technology and Management in KAIST from 2008 to 2011 and since 2011 June, he is the dean of SNU Graduate school of Convergence Science and Technology. I think there are two things that why I admire him. First, throughout his whole life, he shows himself a true entrepreneurship and the importance of challenge all the time. He success his vaccine company with value that is justice, fair, social contribution. And also He didn't cling to the CEO position and he was transformed into a professor. In these reasons, He is mentor of young person in these days. Second, he makes a new wave in political field and society in South Korea. Unlike immoral and incompetent politicians, he shows a new vision and emphasizes that our society needs more reasonable, innovation and challenge. So I think he makes a new wave in many part of our society and that makes our society better.

  2. Your paragrph is not bad but not very good. I know him so I know why many young people admire him. But you don't have strong reason to support your topic. So I can't understand why you admire him.
