Kim Ji Su / The person I admire the most

A person that I admire.

Recently, I participated in the model nuclear security summit, which is a place for university students to gather around and present their opinions as the model delegates of each country.  I was assigned to take a part as the head of UN. This gave me chance to approach on the person Ban Gi mun who is the top head of the current United Nations. After doing researches on him, I began to admire him, and decide to set him up as my role model. Not only had his success in the career in the fields of diplomacy, but also the philosophy he took has deeply inspired me.

Ban gi mun was born in countryside, and had no special education besides schooling. However, despite his poor household and difficulties, he overcame

all these obstacles by putting much effort and time on hist studying. The time and effort he poured in to his sutdying is unimaglinable. He is a very hard working person.

I also admire him the most becasue of his innate personality. Usually most sucessful people tend to brag themselvs. Also especially in these current

modern society, it is more easy to find self-centered person rather than altruisic one. However Ban gi mun was never though highly about himself.

Even though he had all the quailities and social status that could be admired, he never bragged or showed off. Moreoever, he always remained humble.

When he was selected as the minister of Diplomacy of Korea, the first thing he did is to send hand written letters to all of his peers for an apologize of his

promotion.

As I also dream of becoming the diplomat, Ban gi mun is the most admirable model of my future carreer not only in the field of diplomacy but also in the

face of humblness and modesty.

  1. Hi,Ji Su! I'm Cho yoon jung from your class!
What I like about this piece of writing is that it is very clear and simple why you admired him for both in terms of great ability and his humble side!
I think your main point seems to be the reasons why you admire Ban Gimun!
These particular words or lines struck me as powerful: Not only had his success in the career in the fields of diplomacy, but also the philosophy he took has deeply inspired me. I think it contains what you like to talk about and you organize the sentence well!
Also, I like the part you mentioned an episode about his humbleness. It really impressed me a lot like you did!

And by deleting the sentence 'He is a very hard working person.' because I think through the former sentence the meaning could have delivered enough! Also!!! I think there are quite many spelling errors!! I think you'd better look over again!
Anyway thank you for sharing your writing!:D
